Some things could've been improved, and the plot could've been longer, but it's a fun DLC. (It takes a lot of time to find the shrines, and they aren't visible at the map.) One of the bad sides is that after you finish the questline, and do something that is against the law, you can't use the relics, until you visit all of the shrines again. Compared to the other big DLC, the Shivering Isles, it's a bit short, and boring. The Knights of the Nine is a really interesting addon, which should be tried by anyone who liked Oblivion. There are fours 'ranks' for the player, which are earned at different stages of the questline. It's the same game, and if you didn't like the original Oblivion, you're going to be dissapointed. Nothing is actually improved from Oblivion. The whole DLC's point is basically to find the gear of Pelinal Whitestrake, as well as defeat Umaril with the help of some ghosts, and the new knights of the Nine, who can be recruited while you find the gear of the crusader. They are gold clad deadric things, which are pretty easy to kill for experienced players. The player only has to fight one type of enemy the Aurorans. Inside the tomb, the player finds a part of the crusaders gear as well as the corpse of Sir Amiel, the founder of The Knights of the Nine.

Knights of the Nine is the name of a new faction for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, introduced in this expansion pack. The player get's the mission to find the wayshrines of the nine divines, and seek their blessings. Whitestrake has been dead for hundreds of years, but the prophet speaks of his gear, which still exists.

Outside the chapel is a prophet, talking about the evil Ayleid sorcerer Umaril the Unfeathered, who seek revange on the world for being imprisoned in Oblivion by the crusader Pelinal Whitestrake. Knights of the Nine 'Knights of the Nine' (or KotN, as it is usually abbreviated), is an official plug-in from Bethesda Softworks that was released around Thanksgiving 2006. There has been an attack, and everyone in the chapel was killed. When the player travels to the city of Anvil, at the coast of Cyrodiil he or she hears of something terrible that has happened in the chapel of Dibella. You play as your usual character from Oblivion, so you don't need to create a new one. You need The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion to play the DLC.
